This demo shows how UpGrade works within a simple web application we call QuizApp. In the demo, we set up an experiment with two conditions to be presented to users of QuizApp. UpGrade communicates with QuizApp to randomly assign students one of the two conditions, which are monitored in the UpGrade UI. UpGrade has been implemented in MATHia, Carnegie Learning’s adaptive software for mathematics, and in the Battleship Numberline game on BrainPOP, both reaching hundreds of thousands of users.
